यह एक घातक बीमारी है जिसका प्रसार किलनियों तथा चींचड़ों के द्वारा होता हैं इसलिए इसे टिक फीवर भी कहते हैं। बबेसिया परजीवी की चार प्रमुख प्रजातियाँ होती हैं तथा यह चारों प्रजातियाँ गाय तथा भैंस को प्रभावित करती हैं। इन सभी में से बबेसिया बाइजेमिना प्रमुख प्रजाति है जो भारतीय उप-महाद्वीप के पशुओं में बीमारी का मुख्य कारण है। फास्फोरस की कमी से नई ब्यांत या बयाने के करीब वाले दुधारू पशु में भी लहू मूतना देखा गया है पर उस स्तिथि में पशु में कोई ज्वर नहीं आता। विदेशी और संकर नस्ल के पशु इसके प्रति अति … Continue Reading →
