Though an exam can’t decide your faith but it gives you a chance to grow. ICAR does the same so work for it.
Stream Selection
Many students are confused about branch, what to do? We have already shared a write up of Dr. Nilay Deshpande’s “Inside the Paradox of Animal Science & Veterinary Science”, you can refer it again. The problem of branch, you should think calmly considering all situations and opportunities rather than saying circumstances, at least you should be clear regarding Animal Science, Veterinary Science or Biotechnology, later being the most underrated option.
Subject Selection
Choosing a subject is a more personal choice and even if you have not decided yet, no problem. You can even decide it later and can continue with studies, have positive approach that ‘Whatever be the subject I decide, I will be doing it in the Best college of India, for that I need a good rank’. And work the best you can do to achieve it.
ICAR AIEEA(PG)
Now most of you may be thinking – Whether I’m eligible for ICAR’s PG Exam?, Whether I will get admission through ICAR’s PG Exam in all universities ? So our suggestion is that don’t overthink about this queries, this problem rises every single year, there will be some solution or changes that ICAR may make for M.V.Sc. aspirants. Just focus on your studies that’s enough to land into your dream college.
Getting Started
First of all, see previous year ICAR question papers, say form 2018 – 2023, and understand them, the pattern, threshold areas, approach of examiner. You will observe, every year difficulty level is increasing, and so will this year. It will be difficult not only for you but to all who are giving the exam. Identify resources and understand the concept properly. It is always better to read a book 10 times rather than reading 10 books once.
Be confident, you may think you are late in the race, but many of them have not even started hence you are way ahead of them! And if you have not started, start it now! It’s never late!! Other students are really more intelligent but it’s the hard work which wins, and we are hardworking, trust the process, you will get whatever you want! Just don’t miss the chance.
Revision
Do proper thorough revision of subject, understand important concept, have a perspective of ICAR how are they asking questions. For volatile topics like drug classification in pharmacology, parasitology names, etc. revise those weekly once and before 15 days of exam revise it daily. Utilize your time efficiently. Major problems while solving paper are not reading questions properly, wrong interpretation of question and majorly the incomplete knowledge of the topic so taking these things into consideration, prepare well and avoid glitches.
Stay motivated
Ask to senior whomsoever you feel good, we are always there to guide you all because that’s where our real success is, to help you all to achieve your dreams. We will share more about exam and paper solving till that Work Hard. Read A lot. It’s just a process, Enjoy It!!
At the end, all that matters is how much satisfied you are with your efforts.
