Vaccines to be given to dairy animals during monsoon or rainy season

1. Raksha BQ or BQ Vaccine Black Quarter Cattle, buffaloes and calves: 2 ml Subcutaneous in the mid neck region Primary vaccination:
Six months of age or above
Revaccination: Annual
2. Raksha HS +BQ Haemorrhagic Septicaemia (HS) & Black Quarter (BQ) Cattle, buffaloes and calves: 3 ml Deep intramuscular in mid neck region Primary vaccination:
Six months of age or above
Revaccination: Annual
3. Raksha Triovac Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), HS & BQ Cattle and Buffaloes: 3 ml Deep intramuscular in mid neck region Cattle, Buffaloes and Calves: 4 months of age
First revaccination: After 9 months
Subsequent revaccination: Annual
4. Raksha Ovac FMD Cattle, Buffaloes and Calves: 2 ml Deep intramuscular in mid neck region Primary vaccination: 4 months of age (Cattle, Buffaloes)

Booster: 9 months after primary vaccination (Cattle/buffaloes)

Revaccination: Annually

5. Raksha Biovac FMD + HS Cattle and Buffaloes: 3 ml Deep intramuscular in mid neck region Primary vaccination: 4 months of age (Cattle, Buffaloes)

Booster: 9 months after primary vaccination (Cattle/buffaloes)

Revaccination: Annually

6. Raksha HS HS Cattle and Buffaloes: 2 ml Subcutaneous in the mid neck region Cattle, Buffaloes, and Calves: 6 months of age
First revaccination: After 9 months
Subsequent revaccination: Annual
7. Raksha Anthrax Anthrax Cattle and Buffaloes: 1 ml Subcutaneous or intramuscular Cattle, Buffaloes, and Calves: 6 months of age
Revaccination: Annual or before the rainy season.

Note:

  1. Deworming of the animals should be carried out after every 3 months for effective immune response.
  2. For enhancing the immunity of dairy animals, make oral supplementation of 30 grams of mineral mixture daily.
